I don't want to be vulgar with this topic. But this question really drives me nut.

I have heard of a culture where People stitch 'it' after they have sex with some one so that to show off as if they never had sex before. I said it to one of my friend long time back. She called me and asked, if I can say how can she perform it.

Don't you know the gone virginity is gone? Just to cheat your future partners you get into this stitching culture? Or is there any other reason for this stitching?

To me it sounds really painful and disgusting - and I'm a woman. You're right that once it's gone it's gone, so I don't get it either LOL

The stitching of a females vagina is quite common in muslim orientated countries, and several trives in the south of africa. This is done to make sure she does not have sex before she is married because in those cultured they believe in monogamy as far as females goed (she only abides and listened to one man nothing more) [with that I should also note the pologamy for the male, he can marry as many women as he wants] and they believe in sex AFTER marriage. The stitching also serves as an anti-rape thing, just incase, ya know?
The above mentioned stitching is done at or a few years after birth.

I have yet to hear stitching at an age beyond 5 though, or even after sex. It would not be logical, as the pain is excruciating at an older age.

While hearing it i already figure out how painful the process. Back on my country, this type of stitches services does not widely being talk but theres few traditional method that they used to get back their vagina layers..

And KaBooz, I don't understand your post. Even in Hinduism there's a stupid unwritten law like what you said that a male can marry as many women as possible but a woman can't have more than a single man as her husband. But What you meant in your thread? That, just to keep act as if they are regular to this law, the girls who lost their virginity, undergoes this stiches?

Johnbaem, can you tell more about the trational methods to get back their virginity?

No, I mean that a couple of years after the girl is born her vagina is stitched to make sure she is "pure" until she gets married.

nice thread, but diffcult question, i heard that the virginity of a woman once gone can be recovered over a period of time, as it heals up, by avoiding havin sex for long time the virginity is healed up and u can enjoyin cheating ur new partner

It seems as though it's a tradition in much the same way as circumcision is for boys. That's what I'm getting out of the idea of stitching a girl when she's born. It would force her not to be able to have sex until she's married too.
