Default Papillon

This book is a classic and I'm sure many of you have already read it, but I just recently saw it at a used book store and had the urge to read it. An amazing story of physical and mental perserverance, Papillon is set in 1930's French Guiana, which was a prison colony in South America. Papillon is wrongly accused and sentanced to prison for life, and never gives up trying to escape from what is considered to be a death sentance. Even though it's a French translation, it is still written very beautifully and is an excellent read for those looking for an exciting and suspensful "just one more page" kind of book.

Go read it if you haven't already. Oh and yes, it's very different from the steve mcqueen/dustin hoffman film.
