I think that if you like the first book in a series that you should try to read the next one and see if it's just as good and keep going after that if you like them.

After finishing The Elegant Universe, I have now moved onto A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking. The book is pretty informative, and his use of analogy is very good, but he can omit a lot of information (i.e. that the wavelength of a particular wave is invertionally proportional to then frequency).

After this, it will either be the Feynmann lectures, Relativity by Einstein (again) or a book on chemistry or fluid dynamics.
