Default A step to make Photoshop Faster

Hi Guyz , This is a good One step tutorial which you will find nowhere on webs & this really helps to make firefox faster in loading ..it is just a way to devoting more of your system RAm to Photoshop...Some of you might know it too..

Here is a simple step..

1) Open you Adobe Photoshop
2) Go to EDIT>>PREFERENES>>performance then Increase "lets Photoshop use" Ram ;D ( So Simple)

Highslide JS

i have changed it too 600 as i have enought ram on my computer..YOu should change it according to the ram chip in your computer ..Hope this will increase your photoshop Speed & you like this step.

Regards,

Good work poster. I have thanked you for this post without even trying them. But I hope it would surely help. As my system often gets struck with photoshop, I suppose this would surely help me.

I deleted Photoshop off my computer because it ran too slow, wish I'd read this first I usually just use fireworks anyway, photoshop is too complicated
By the way, does this apply for any program?

GoodPoster, do you know if this works on other applications? Because I'm a video editor, but my computer struggles to run Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0, and although I can edit the video it all goes really slow and it makes it hard to do?
