Default Money vs Beliefs

Let's say you're offered a job that pays significantly more than your current job, however, this new job would go against what you stand for, either politically, religiously, or whatever. Would you take the new job? What if you desperately needed the money?

If it's a matter of life and death, even if it's against my political belief, I might accept the job, but if it means giving up my religion, never! I believe that God will provide, that God has a plan for us.

No, I wouldn't take a job that goes against what I think is morally right, emphasis on what I think is morally right, not a political parties' or religions'. But that fluctuates with what position I'm in. I mean killing some corporate guy whose warmongering and clout killed thousands of innocent people, for money wouldn't be morally wrong to me now.

It depend on what it is.
Let's just say that they pay me to promote how the devil is the real thing and god screwed us all making us to think that he is the good one, i probabily would do it.
Now, if it comes to something like child porn or some sick stuff like that, no, i wouldn't.

Why not? I could give it a try. I don't really have much of hardcore political, religious or moral beliefs that I couldn't trade for money. I adhere to a few beliefs (not much of a complication there) so I think they don't really mess with any opportunity for me to earn money. Where can I find such offers?

I wouldn't take the job no matter how badly I needed the money at the moment. I believe in God and that He'll provide all my needs for me. As such, I'd have to take a close look at my budget to determine needs vs. wants and cut out all of the wants before doing something that I'm opposed to doing for a job.

If I was not in a hurry for money, well, I won't try it out. Job satisfaction matters more than money.

But if I am badly expecting some money, Well, money matters there :P

if this is for the sake of earning a money, then I will definitely accept it unless if this new job requires me to leave everything, family, religions, belief or taking the life of others, etc. I won't accept it.I would rather find new job for me not to feel guilty.it's hard to work when there's a guilty feeling behind your success.

It depends what it is. If it's only slightly against my morals, then I probably wouldn't mind too much providing it brought in a decent amount of money more than I was making before. If, however, the job is very extreme and radical, then no, I doubt I would take it, although you would probably get used to it after a bit.
