Is work really just about the money. If you hate going everyday, how do you finally know when it is time to go? Do you find another job before you quit or is there something that could happen that would make you just say I am done?

I don't LIKE my work and I don't DISLIKE it. It's just work. I work for money, yes. I can hang out with my co-workers out side of the job, but when I clock in it's only for work. Period.
I wouldn't quit unless some REALLY bad shit got stirred up..but with the people I'm working with I highly doubt that will happen unless something like stolen money starts popping up. Definitely I'd find a job before I quit as well..there are a few places I would have in mind. I live in a somewhat small (and growing) location, there's going to be a stripmall added soon as well.. I might try to get a job there if things suddenly go wrong where I'm currently employed.

Whether you love your job or not, when people start mistreating you or demanding more work from you for the same pay, it is time to go.

If things keep going the way they currently are at my job I might actually consider leaving.
I'm one of the three people currently working where I work that actually does EVERYTHING, trys to make everyone elses job easier and doesn't leave any stone unturned and I only ge 19-21hrs/week if even. It's starting to piss me off.

I've always believed that if work was enough fun that it was where you'd rather be than anywhere else, they'd call it play.
With that said, there's nothing wrong with wanting fulfillment from the work you do, and overall enjoy what you do. If you're consistently unhappy with your job then maybe it IS time to find other work. However make sure you're not going from bad to worse, or even from bad to bad. Finding the RIGHT new job might take some time. Figure out what it is you REALLY want to do. Then figure out what you need to get a job doing what it is you really want to do. The best way to do this is to ask people working in the type of job you think you want. This will not only help you be more certain it's the right type of job for you, it may open some doors to getting a job. This is true whether you want to work in an ice cream shop, or in a corporate job. |

I have a opinion of asking about the companies people and surrounding then going into the company for working. because if you don't know anything about the company, just because you got the appointment order. you can't go blind in it. so ask before act. i leave job at 6'0.p.m.
