These are what you might call the ‘pure’ search engines, such as Google, Altavista and
Fast. They have systems which ‘crawl’ the web looking for sites to add to their index. Sites are ranked according to their content, so that the most relevant sites show up in specific searches. |

Yes, Content plays an important role as far as web crawlers are concerned. Web crawlers are none other than the bots that are sent from these search engines. Thats why Content writing and all are much money making scheme these days.
