These compile results from several sources to create a blended listing. Dogpile is a typical example. But as we said earlier, this is a fast-moving sector, and the distinction between the categories is disappearing. In fact, many services are now evolving towards blended listings, where they show a mixture of crawler-based, paid and directory listings. Nevertheless the same rules apply, and you need to understand how to get listed in each category.
