Naturally, I like keeping the individual letters the same as how their punctuation is in the phrase writte out. However, I like having either the middle letter or outer two letters capitalize while the other(s) lower case. OtC is fine with me in that sense.

I think the abbreviations are not pre-decided. They come out of the discussions automatically in due course. So, let us wait for some discussions to take place.

And the abbreviations are needed for names that take long to pronounce. Off topics is a small word anyway, so abbreviation is not really needed.

“OffTopicers” is the first natural guess of every person. There should be some twist. Make it “OffTopikers” (with a K) as cers might get pronounced sers.
